Lake Tahoe

We’re here in Lake Tahoe with our small group and it’s just been absolutely beautiful.  Truth be told I have never really bothered to come up here during the summer.  We have been mostly in Lake Tahoe for snowboarding and skiing.  We’ve seen summer here in Lake Tahoe and it’s great!  We will definitely come  back for a biking or hiking excursion.  I see why folks come out here when it’s super hot in the Bay Area.  It’s gorgeous, cool and there’s always a nice breeze.

The house we rented is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath and a 0.25 (which means just a room with a sink, very odd).  It’s spacious and has a nice island that separates a family room and the kitchen.  It’s very nice.  Folks can eat on the other side of the island while other’s can cook in the kitchen.

It’s for sale and the last price on zillow shows it was bought for 810,000.  There is another nice house 3 doors down that’s going for 1.4M.  I’m seeing alot of homes for sale up here and wonder if it has to do with the economy or the fires?
